2018 A garden, a grinder
Founder Elena Voss starts cold-pressing rosehip in her grandmother's Portland kitchen, chasing the glow she remembered from childhood summers.
2020 The first ritual
The Rosehip Glow Oil launches to a waitlist of 900. It sells out in a weekend - and the refill programme is born out of necessity.
2022 Rooted in science
We open our small-batch studio and partner with a botanical chemist, pairing folk wisdom with dermatologist testing on every formula.
2024 A growing garden
Twelve formulas, four collections, and a community of 60,000 who refill rather than rebuy. Carbon-neutral shipping becomes standard.

I never wanted to sell more. I wanted to make less, better - the way my grandmother kept one good oil on her shelf for a decade.
Elena grew up between a Portland greenhouse and her grandmother's garden in the Caucasus, where skincare meant whatever was ripe and pressed fresh. After a decade in clinical cosmetic science, she founded MyGlowRoots to close the gap between what works and what nature intended - formulas that are honest about their ingredients and gentle enough to use forever.
